What Search A-Z is

Search A-Z compiles information about a named person from public and commercially available sources. Information can be incomplete, out of date or about a different person with the same name. Check anything important for yourself.

Not a consumer report (FCRA)

Search A-Z is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and our reports are not consumer reports. You must not use any report, in whole or in part, to decide whether someone is eligible for:

• a job, promotion or volunteer role, including screening household workers or contractors;
• renting or leasing a home;
• credit, a loan or insurance;
• a professional licence, education or any other purpose covered by the FCRA.

Things you must not do

• Use a report to stalk, harass, threaten, intimidate or harm anyone, or to find someone who doesn’t want to be found.
• Search for someone under 18.
• Use a report for anything illegal, including discrimination.
• Resell reports or scrape the site.

We may block searches, refuse service and report misuse to the authorities.

Payments and refunds

A full report is a one-off payment shown before you pay. You see a summary of what we found before paying. If the report you paid for is empty or clearly about a different person, contact support@[DOMAIN] within 14 days for a refund.

Liability

Reports are provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions you make based on a report. [Lawyer to complete.]
