For business owners
Walk into every call already knowing them
Look up a prospect before the pitch, check a new supplier or partner before you sign, or see who’s behind a competitor. Get their role, company, work history, profiles and what the web says about them.
Search a prospectFor dating and new relationships
Make sure they are who they say they are
Before you meet someone from an app, check that their name, job and town add up, that they have a real online presence, and that there are no public scam or fraud warnings about them. Add photos from their profile and we reverse search them too. For US matches, we also check the sex offender registry.
Catfish and romance scammers rarely survive a proper check.
Check a matchCheck yourself
See what a stranger can find about you
Search your own name and see your profiles, the pages that mention you and what data broker sites list about you, the same way an employer, a date or a stranger would. Then remove what you don’t want public.
Check yourselfPrivate

Honest
We show you what we found before you pay. If we can’t find the right person, we say so.
Responsible
No home addresses for dating checks, and privacy rules respected in the UK and Europe.
Works in the US, the UK and Europe
What a report includes depends on where the person lives, because privacy laws differ.
Work, profiles and web mentions, plus US public records: phones, emails, past cities and relatives (addresses and relatives not shown for dating checks). Dating and general searches also check the sex offender registry.
Work, company, education, public profiles and web mentions. No home addresses or personal phone numbers.
The same as the UK, under GDPR.
Any phone number or email you give us is checked everywhere: is it real, what kind of line it is, and has it been used for fraud. Photos you add to a dating or general search are reverse searched in every country.

How much does it cost?
Searching is free, and you see what we found before you pay. Full reports come with a membership: a 7-day trial for $3.99 that includes 2 reports, then $24.99 a week for up to 5 reports a week. Cancel anytime. Join during a sale and your price stays locked in for as long as you stay a member.
Will they know I searched for them?
No. We never contact the person you search for.
Where does the information come from?
Professional and social profile data, US public records, official company registers, sanctions and watch lists, the US sex offender registry, the phone and email checks, a reverse image search of any photos you add, and a live search of the public web. We don’t log in to anyone’s accounts, search inside dating apps or see anything private.
Can I search with their photos?
Yes, on dating and general searches. After you type their name, add up to 3 photos, for example from their dating profile. When you open your report, we reverse search each photo and show where else it appears online. A photo used under a different name is a common sign of a fake profile. We delete your photos once the check has run.
Do you check the sex offender registry?
Yes, for people in the US on dating and general searches. When you open the full report, we check the public sex offender registry for their name. We only flag a record when it fits where they live (the city or state you gave us, or the one we find for them), so adding their city helps. A shared name isn’t proof, so always check the official registry page we link to.
How do I see my reports or cancel?
Sign in to My account with the email you paid with. We email you a code, then you can see your plan, reopen your reports and manage or cancel your membership.
What can’t I use it for?
Search A-Z is not a consumer reporting agency. You can’t use a report to decide whether to hire someone, rent to them, lend to them or insure them. You also can’t use it to stalk, harass or find someone who doesn’t want to be found. See our terms.
Why don’t I see a home address?
We never show street addresses or relatives for dating checks, or for anyone in the UK or Europe. A city is enough to check someone’s story, and it keeps everyone safe.
What if you find the wrong person?
Many people share a name, so we tell you how sure we are and which of your details match. If we can’t find a clear match, we say so before you pay.
How do I remove my own details?
Use our opt-out form. It takes effect straight away and it’s free.
